PoolLevels

Terms of Service

Last updated 16 September 2026

These terms cover the PoolLevels mobile app and this website, both published by Alstig, Inc. Installing or using PoolLevels means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

1. What PoolLevels is

PoolLevels is a calculator and record keeper for swimming pool water. You enter test readings, it computes a saturation index and suggests a chemical dose sized for the pool you described.

2. What PoolLevels is not

It is not a substitute for testing, for reading a product label, or for a qualified pool professional. It does not test your water. It calculates from numbers you supply, and a wrong reading in produces a wrong recommendation out.

You are responsible for what you put in your pool. Before adding any chemical:

Pool chemicals can injure people, damage surfaces and equipment, and produce dangerous gas when combined. Use PoolLevels as one input to your own judgement, not as an instruction you follow without checking.

3. Accuracy

The chemistry is implemented carefully and tested against published reference values, but it works from assumptions where a home test cannot supply a measurement. Where the app assumes something rather than measuring it, it says so on screen. Results are estimates.

4. Subscriptions and payment

PoolLevels includes a free tier. PoolLevels Pro is an auto renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

5. Your content

Your readings, pool details and photos stay on your device. We do not receive them, so we cannot access, restore or delete them for you. Deleting the app deletes them. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, use it to build a competing product, or interfere with its operation. The app, its name, its artwork and its chemistry implementation remain the property of Alstig, Inc.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including during testing. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

PoolLevels is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its recommendations will suit your pool.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alstig, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, damage to a pool, its surfaces or its equipment, or any personal injury arising from chemicals you choose to add. Our total liability for any claim relating to PoolLevels is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
